This bag is a product of INDHA, which aims to achieve reduction in poverty in rural and semi-urban areas on a sustainable basis through women empowerment programs and to form strong working groups of women belonging to various villages of Gurgoan, Haryana.
Indha means, 'The Broad Base' on which the village women carry a number of water pots on their heads. The same broad base, in literal terms, will enable these women to carry loads of many things together - craft, creativity, identity and empowerment.
